BatterySave
In recent past, we have seen an immense increase in Mobile’s specifications and features. No doubt, mobile phones have replaced our hefty computers and laptops. Almost all of the tasks can be done using mobile. You can watch movie, email a friend, get social updates etc. And all this fits in your palm.

As mobile phones specifications and features have enhanced, the main bottle neck is still the power source i.e. battery. Almost all of us are always complaining about battery life. And it is fact that Battery Technology didn’t enhance as compare to mobile phones. To understand battery life, first we have to know that what is battery capacity? Battery capacity is measured in mA like 3000mA etc. Major batteries capacity lies between 255mA to 4000mA.

Now the question arises, how to prolong battery life? Battery can be conserved by adopting following simple rules:

  • Single color wallpaper can save battery and especially black color wallpaper does the job.
  • You should use operating system sleep feature. During this mode, mobile is consuming very less power. Sleep feature may have different names according to operating System and its version e.g. Android Marshmallow has Doze feature to save battery.
  • Android and iOS have many app to optimize performance and save battery life. Greenify is one of them. You should install Greenify and give it a chance.
  • Auto Brightness should not be used. It drains battery in bright light.
  • Screen timeout time should be set to 15-Seconds. It is enough idle time to perform any operation.
  • Unwanted features should be set off like air gestures, shake to silent, double tap screen to awake etc. These features also consume a major portion of our precious battery life.
  • You should turn off vibrations completely. No vibration should be set for call, haptic feed back and keypress.
  • Select your network wisely. If your SIM is 3G then there is no need to set network mode to 4G. Similarly if you don’t use 3G or 4G services, you should select GSM mode for network.
  • Communication services like Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, GPS etc should only be activated when you really need them.
  • One of the major battery drainer is the Auto-Sync feature of accounts. You should disable this feature to conserve battery.
  • You should turn off auto update of apps and operating system. You can manually check once in week to update your favorite apps.
  • Don't use battery saving apps, as they are memory resident and will consume your battery more.

I am sure by following these simple rules, your mobile’s battery can stay longer. Is your battery time enhanced by following these rules? Tell us
