Question to restart the smartphone in order to improve its performance and stability is very common and ever asking.
According to information held by the analytic agency, about half of the users do not see any practical benefits of regular rebooting their smartphone and most of them do not have any justification for their actions. The most common reason is the clearance of the cache to improve the performance of the smartphone.
To know the technical reasoning a similar question has been asked from AppleCare. Two different company representative gave a completely mismatched answer. According to the one employee, regular restart frees memory of iPhone or iPad, allowing to start "from scratch". Another employee, in turn, said that the iOS operating system is so streamlined, that there is no need to restart.
In our opinion, modern operating systems like Android or iOS are capable of reusing memory. They have a special feature named 'Garbage Collection' in order to reclaim memory from closed applications. So there is no need of restart or reboot a smartphone as it won't improve performance. Surely, you can use some good app to clear memory and cache.
