Owners of OnePlus 3 are facing a problem of applications unloading from memory. It has been solved by latest update from OnePlus. OnePlus 3 is seriously facing a problem of memory management optimization.
The problem of memory management has been reported by many owners, some users even created videos, while others simply complain. The problem was also known to OnePlus, which promptly announced that in the near future memory management will be optimized.
The company has released an update on July 7th, which will address the issue. A test was conducted as follows. OnePlus 3 was restarted, we launched the Google Play, Google Music, Facebook, YouTube and Chrome. After that we launch Asphalt 8, Dead Trigger 2 and Mortal Kombat X. The smartphone is well managed - no restarts.
Then we decided to open 4 tabs with the desktop version of a conventional website. At first, the result pleased, because the Play Music, YouTube and Facebook still remain in the memory, but all three games, unfortunately, completely cleared from memory. In addition, Chrome is hard enough to cope with five tabs. After the recent update we conducted the similar experiment and found no problems. All applications remain in the memory.
Then it was decided a little complicate the situation even further and run five tabs with the desktop version of the site - all applications continue to work.
We further opened 15 tabs. However, at this stage there were some problems, for example, some tabs were still unloaded, animation behaved incorrectly. But it is worth noting that all other applications were not unloaded, including games.
Thus, we can confidently say that the programmers of the OnePlus cope with the problem of memory management optimization, We congratulate them wholeheartedly.
