The Skype company decided to change the maximum size of files that users can send or receive using their app. From now on, everyone can share the necessary data, the size of which does not exceed 300 MB.
Previously, the figure was around 100 MB, but with developing technologies and devices, Skype is now able to increase the size of files without loss of speed. They also point out that this does not affect the servers and servers will receive a slightly larger load. We are confident that these changes will positively affect the entire system, enabling users to communicate and share important information. If you want to share file larger than 300MB then you have to use OneDrive, which allows you to store and transfer up to 5 GB of data.
