a. First thing to do is to Turn down the LCD because the new iPhone’s screen has alot of brightness. By keeping your brightness level at 10% will surely maximize your battery power. Open up Settings and goto Brightness. Reduce brightness level to 10%, if you are not feeling comfortable with that you can increase it a bit more like 20-30%. In dim light, your iPhone screen darkens. The reason behind that is  when you unlock the phone after idle mode, it adjusts the brightness by itself.<br />

b. Vibration in Gaming mode needs to be turned off for maximizing battery life. Games with excessive vibration happening is another unnecessary battery power loss. You should also turn off vibration in games.<br />

c. Reduce the usage of A-GPS tracking. Turn off GPS checks in your iPhone. Open Settings>Privacy>Location Services, you'll find a list of all the apps on your phone which are tracking your phone’s location. (It’s a combination of GPS, cell-tower<br />

triangulation, and WiFi hotspot triangulation). This feature also consumes alot of battery resource.<br />

d. Wi-Fi new network scanning should be turned off . Also if you’re not in a range of wireless hotspot, disable your phone Wi-Fi. Tap Settings>Wi-Fi>Off.<br />

e. If 3G service is not available by your service provider then turn it off also.<br />

g. Autolock need to be set to 1 or 2 minutes. Auto lock time can be set through<br />
Settings>General>Autolock.<br />

h. Less Usage of 3D Apps. Not surprisingly, mostly playing games rendering 3D, battery life drops very quickly. Excessive use of graphics chips more intensely will increase power usage. Unlike email or browsing, gaming consume more power resources, gaming keeps the CPU, GPU and LCD going full-time. Although, staying away from games wasn't possible for me, so in my case i will recharge my phone battery again and again.<br />

I. Turn off Push data, and Set Fetch Time. By turning off push data, iPhone checks for<br />
email and updates only when email or calendar apps are opened. Push consumes more power than the fetch mode due to checks for calendar, contact and email syncing at set intervals of 15 or 30 minutes to an hour.<br />

Open Network connections/Network and Sharing centre, and configure the network settings for your iPhone and then click Apply. If you are using PC, then use the Network Control Panel/Network and Sharing Centre the iPhone connection configuration settings.<br />

<b>Connecting through Bluetooth :-</b><br />
Step 1: In your iPhone, tap "Settings and tap General and then select Bluetooth by sliding bluetooth option to ON state.<br />
<i>Note: You can also consult you iPhone manual for pairing your computer and iPhone.</i><br />

Step 2: In your computer, goto Control Panel and then click Hardware and Devices. Click on Bluetooth Devices, then Add and your computer will search for available Bluetooth devices in range and provides you a list of available devices.<br />

Step 3: Click iPhone in the available devices, you can see a Pin Code on your computer screen which has to be entered in your iPhone for making a successful pair connection.<br />
