Mobile phone manufacturers are
trying their bet to manufacture a mobile phone that can be bent truly, without
the fear of break. In this race, Apple has already received a patent last year
for “Flexible Electronic Devices”. It consists of almost 30 documents that
reveal that how the device will perform. Samsung and LG are also in this
competition and want to win to create their Leadership in bendable
mobiles. But now news has been broken
that winner in none of above, but a Chinese startup Moxi
It has been announced by a
Chinese startup, MOXI, that they have manufactured a fully bendable mobile
phone. It can be used as a mobile and can be worn as a watch. The basic theme
behind this fantastic innovation is the use of Graphene. It is the thinnest and
most strong metal available till now. It is also light and highly flexible.
Moxi has also announced that they
are in the final stage of manufacturing the devices. A prototype has already
been produced and plan for manufacturing of 100,000 units is in final stage.
These phones will be available in the market till end of this year.
It is a great achievement by
Moxi, but it still has some issues yet. The bendable mobile, that will be
available till end of this year, will be black and white. It will cost approx
$765 each. It is quite high price for a black and white display, although it
will bend, but still it is expensive. People are now more used to color
displays and its seems very difficult to revert to old age. Moxi also announced
that there color version will be available till end of 2018. We are hopeful
that Moxi will do a splendid job and deliver us bendable phone in committed
time
