DON’T FORGET TO TRY ONCE TO HAVE A LUNCH/DINNER HERE:

I was not a typical foodie person since I shifted to Riyadh Saudi Arabia and started hanging out with bunch of besties. I was brought up on typical desi Pakistani food. My fondness kept on growing and I started visiting restaurants.
Here is the list of the restaurants,

MONAL PIR SUHAWA:

Monal Pir Suhawa was on my hit list and finally the moment reached when my brother gave his anniversary treat. Sky soaring setup, breathtaking views from mountain top, live music and admirable decor offers a great ambience. In summer, prefer to visit in evening and try to book an observatory deck to have mountain top views. For winter, a sunny day will be quite romantic to enjoy open sky seating.

Overall, food quality was average. I ordered mutton handi, chicken makhani, egg fried rice and fried fish.  Being a chocolate lover, what made me crazy was Sizzling Brownie and Icecream. Don’t forget to give it a try.  Staff is quite welcoming.

Diva JINNAH PARK:

One of my dearest friend recommended me the Diva Restaurant. It offers indoor and outdoor sitting place but prefer to avail rooftop (evening time) as you can have the view of the whole park with delicious pakistani food. But you can be welcomed by mosquitoes too (better to sit on the top location).

Loved the yummy reshmi kababs, gola kababs, mutton karahi and many more. Pasta and rice were average. Good service but slow. Price is high but affordable. Live music, soothing ambience and tasty desi food will bring you back.
What makes it more attractive:
Jinnah Park is aperfect location for a complete entertainment as it houses  a cinema houses, walking track and kids play area. After watching a movie, you may want to have a food and Diva is the most reasonable and approachable restaurant.

DES PARDES E-11 MARKAZ:

I dined out with family once at Des Pardes Saddar Rawalpindi but it did worth revisit. Food was very average and salad was a disaster. My friend came from Sweden and her location was very close to the E-11 MARKAZ and it was a great hangout with my university fellows. It offers one of the most affordable and tasty food (as far as my taste buds responded) with a wide indoor location.  Ambience was elegant and staff was very well-mannered. Highly recommended with friends or family.

KHIVA (8TH FLOOR) REVOLVING RESTAURANT:

It was a fantansy to have lunch on the revolving top deck of the restaurant since my brother suggested but speed is too slow to spoil my fantasy . AND it doesn’t offer any scenic view except if you want to have a view of BAHRIA TOWN…….(JUST KIDDING). Quite risky if you have kids around 2-3 years old to avail the top revolving floor.
Let’s come to the cuisine. Menu card is more mouthwatering than real food is! With variety of platters Shah Jehani, Dawat-e-Agra,Naurangi Angeethi etc. Out of all, MASH ki DAAL was quite tasty. Roasted lamb(if cant digest spices better to tell them to have normal spices) and mutton was yummy. Salads were better too. Though overpriced but still worth a try. Quite risky if you have kids around 2-3 years old to avail the top revolving floor.

TEXAS STEAK HOUSE:

Steak house is surely a must try place for meat lovers(icecream/dessserts) and don’t forget to ask about discounts that are mostly offered between 12 A.M to 5 P.M. Outdoor location is not that awful, as it is surrounded by many kids clothing stores.
Though conjusted but romantic ambience and welcoming staff are other salient features. Outdoor location is not that awful.
