I have got the solution!
Every second girl experiences the frizziness, roughness and dull hairs and it gets worse when you have to attend party, or if you are a working woman.
Rainy season (July-September) enhances frizziness and dullness in hairs and On my friend's recommendation I read many articles , visited few salons and finally took a decision to take a treatment and It worked wonders for me.
When it comes to choose keratin or rebonding or extenso, it becomes really difficult to decide.
Keratin may be better for you, but still it depends on hair type and structure.
Girls with light curls and thin hairs should go for keratin definitely as it hydrates your hairs by nourishing them and gives a straightening effect to your hairs. Above all, keratin repairs damaged hairs and tops the list of all protein treatment. keratin stays for 3 to 4 months depending on the porosity of your hairs. Less porous hairs will hold the keratin longer.
For Coarse, thick and curly hairs, straightening treatments like extenso and rebonding should be preferred and especially if you want a dead straight look with no styling. Straightening procedures change the structure of your hairs so that strands cannot get back to curly or wavy again. Straightening procedures stay upto a year but it damages your hairs.
There are many brands for keratin and straightening treatments such as SCHWARZKOPF and LOREAL.
Do's and Don'ts of Keratin smoothing treatments involve:
Avoid treatment when humidity is in excess as in rainy season
Choose parlor wisely and make sure they use original products
No polytails, buns or braids and keep the hairs straight (for the first 3 days).
Don't let your hairs get wet (only for the first 3 days).
Post treatment care is very important, such as for keratin use sulphate free shampoos as sulphate strips away the keratin from your hairs and dont forget to buy a keratin mask and it will enable the hairs to stay straight for longer time.
For extenso/rebonding you need to invest a lot on hair masks,serums and hydrating shampos. Don't forget to buy mask mostly available only at salons and apply it for once a week.
